Writers’ Guidelines for JWR

If you are interested in writing for The Journal of Worship Resources please refer to the sample as a guide for length, format, etc. Each contributor is asked to write the following for three different passages:

• Call to Worship

• Invocation

• Prayer of Confession

• Assurance of Pardon

• Offering Meditation

• Offertory Prayer

• Invitation to Communion

• Benediction

It is important that you be inclusive in your use of language. Please be creative and allow your material to be self-expressive. It is helpful to include as much involvement with the congregation as possible when appropriate.
